Set up your NFC tag with any link
WhatsApp, LinkedIn, YouTube, Linktree, a website, a Google review link and more.
Asked us to program it when you ordered? It's already done. Just unlock your phone and tap.
1 Before you start
- Unlock your phone. A locked phone won't read or write tags.
- Android: make sure NFC is on (Settings, then Connected devices or Connections).
- Install the free NFC Tools app.

Get your link first. In most apps, open your profile, tap Share and then Copy link. For WhatsApp, use https://wa.me/16135550100 with your number, country code first and no spaces.
2 Add your link
- Open NFC Tools and tap Write, then Add a record.
- Choose Custom URL / URI. Not the plain "URL / URI" option: that one adds its own https:// and your link would break.
- Paste your full link, including
https://, for examplehttps://instagram.com/printpluto. - Tap OK.
3 Write it to your tag
- Tap Write.
- Hold the tag against your phone's NFC spot: iPhone top edge, near the front camera. Android the back, around the middle.
- Keep still until it says Write complete. If it fails, try again a little slower.
4 Test it
Close NFC Tools, unlock your phone and tap the tag. It should open straight away. 🎉
⚠️ Never tap "Lock tag" or "Set password" in NFC Tools. Locking is permanent: the tag can never be changed again.
Not working?
- Move the tag slowly around the NFC spot. Thick or metal phone cases can block it.
- Android: check NFC is turned on.
- iPhone 7, 8 or X: open the NFC reader from Control Center first.
- Still stuck? Send us a message and tell us your phone model. We'll help.
